I mentioned a while ago about the poetry contest. Well, I went ahead with the anthology and the book arrived today.

I very rarely write poetry of any sort. A while ago, however, I wrote a few different pieces. Then, about two months ago, I saw a poetry contest advertised on one of the forums I post to. I entered on a whim, figuring that it wouldn't get very far. Now, today, I got a letter in the mail saying that the poem made it to the semi-finals of the contest, and more, they want to publish it in their next anthology!!
