If you like historical fiction, I've got to recommend
Kingdom of the Grail by Judeth Tarr to you. It's set in the time of Charlemagne, and is a combination of the Song of Roland, the Arthurian tales (more of a minor element) and Parsifal.
I've decided what I'm going to do at University, now I just have to declare it. Majoring in Classical Studies/Archaeology and Minoring in Medieval Studies. I'm going to have to re-do first year Latin though in order to do the Second Year stuff. I'm getting excited about 3rd year. Just wish I didn't have to wait to register.
As for writing, well I've got two ideas going now, one of which is actually half written. Both are Lord of the Rings pieces, and I hope to have the first one up in a couple of days. The second may end up suitable for the FrodoHealers group, which I'd like.
