I've been starting and abandoning numerous books this month. These are the ones I've actually finished reading:

Looks like I did a bit of reading this month. It's a good thing the list is behind a cut.

I was reminded today why I shouldn't be left unsupervised at booksales, especially library ones. 17 new (actually used) books/videos and nowhere to put them (no, not quite that bad, actually I think I have a half shelf open somewhere). What else do you expect when the books are either 25 or fifty cents each?

Andre Norton, David Weber, John Ringo, Rosemary Sutcliff, Mary Stewart and L.E. Modessit, just to name a few of the authors. The rest were misc historical fiction that I can't remember the author names, but the books looked good.

I'm working on a website update to go up sometime soon.

If you like historical fiction, I've got to recommend Kingdom of the Grail by Judeth Tarr to you. It's set in the time of Charlemagne, and is a combination of the Song of Roland, the Arthurian tales (more of a minor element) and Parsifal.

I've decided what I'm going to do at University, now I just have to declare it. Majoring in Classical Studies/Archaeology and Minoring in Medieval Studies. I'm going to have to re-do first year Latin though in order to do the Second Year stuff. I'm getting excited about 3rd year. Just wish I didn't have to wait to register.

As for writing, well I've got two ideas going now, one of which is actually half written. Both are Lord of the Rings pieces, and I hope to have the first one up in a couple of days. The second may end up suitable for the FrodoHealers group, which I'd like.
